Annual General Meeting and Board Elections

TCTU will hold elections for the Board of Directors during the Annual General Meeting scheduled for January 25th at 7 pm.  To participate in the meeting and vote for Board Members, you must be a chapter member in good standing with dues paid.
If you are a chapter member in good standing, you should receive an email invitation to the meeting by January 15th.  Due to the spread of the Omicron variant, the meeting will be held over Zoom. If you feel you are entitled to vote but do not receive an email by January 15th, please contact info@twincitiestu.org. If you would like to join TU or renew your membership so that you can vote, please visit https://www.tu.org/memberships-and-giving/
The nominations committee has received 4 nominations for the 2022 ballot.  Per our bylaws, no nominations will be taken from the floor. All four nominations are for current board members who wish to serve another term.  The nominees are as follows:

Paul Johnson
Paul has served on the Board since 2019 and is currently our Chapter Treasurer. You can read more about Paul here.

Bob Luck
Bob has served on the Board since 2019 and is currently our Chapter President.  Bob hopes to get the satisfaction of seeing our organization continue to grow, and to make a difference in protecting cold water resources in the Twin Cities Metro and throughout Minnesota. You can read more about Bob here.

Chris O'Brien
Chris has served on the Board since 2018 and is currently our Chapter Advocacy Chair. He is interested in helping the chapter become more engaged in advocacy for clean water policy and local/regional trout stream conservation issues as they arise. He plans to volunteer for the Minnesota TU Advocacy Committee and is also in contact with the Kinni Corridor Collaborative to stay informed of dam removal efforts. In addition, he is interested in refining his social media skills by continuing to promote TCTU events and conservation messages on Facebook and Instagram. You can read more about Chris here.

Yves Charron
Yves was appointed to the Board in October of 2021 to fill out the term of Tony Nelson, who had resigned.  Prior to joining the Board, Yves was active with our Fishing Skills program and volunteered on the Year-end Film Festival Team.  Since joining the Board, Yves has taken on the role of Events Chair, and organized our Winter Fish Camp at Whitewater State Park in December.  You can read more about Yves here.
