MNTU has just completed a massive 8000 foot habitat improvement project on Hay Creek off 320th Avenue. The prairie grass is growing in nicely, and the section will be ready to fish from August 1st. Fished it today(7/30). Beautiful shape and lots of fish. Use the new parking area just before you get to the creek. Stay off the steeper banks if their bare. Avoid the bottom quarter of the project as it hasnt got much prairie yet. Word for the day: hoppers! Leave a Reply. |
